Topic: [extension release] Smiley List 1.0
My second extension, this time hopefully without doing a big cockup 
It'll add a list of clickable smilies above the post and quick post forms. Hopefully much better than the 1.2 version.

Requests please:
Don't display smilies if smilies are disabled.
Please align the smilies with the message box instead of flush left.
Add it to editing a post.
Maybe add it to Profile > Signature.

For the signature, please use the smilies setting for signatures.
If you could enhance this further by adding another row of buttons for the BBcodes, that would be awesome.

Is there a way to make the cursor go from the Subject field to the Message field bypassing the smilies when pressing the Tab key?

Hrmm, not that I know of, apart from setting the tabindex or so, but I think that's discouraged.

ahh but you can get better...
Rather than me helping you straight away. You already have tips on how to do it - try tabbing into punBB1.3 and you'll see what I mean. I haven't checked to see exactly how it is done in the default template but it should be fairly easy to replicate for other use.
And if that doesn't help, let me know and I'll play with things and see what I can come up with.

I think when you tab from the title of a new topic you first have to tab through the whole list... that is kinda annoying...

add in a 'skip link' that is hidden from view unless brought into focus - just tab into the forum with your browser and see how Paul has done it - you should be able to replicate this elsewhere on the page.

To prevent lazy poster (only post smiley), smiley does not show while click. Except, poster MUST BE write some letters first

IE and FireFox let "the lazy poster" click only smiley.
