hi, my name is dejan and i am from croatia.

we have small forum at this adress http://vwkombiji.portbb.com/index.php
this forum is on portbb.com web service and every day a few hours forum is unavalible.

i have question, is how possible to get database from this forum?
we would migrate from this free service to own hosting without losing users and posts (but stay on punbb)

i had sent an email to our service but nobody respond on it.

p.s. which version is our forum?

you're running 1.2.x

you need to get the mysql database from your host (backup)

your style will only work on 1.2.x

What a bunch of dicks running that site!  I just checked their most "popular" forums... they're all fall of spam posts and spam users... says a lot about their service.

You've given them thousands of ad impressions and the bastards won't even back up your db (work of 2-3min).... bad show sad

Interesting that phpbb can be extracted like you mention above.... I guess it's possible after all somehow then, but you saw the guy who made the hack: cost of developing something like that, time invested etc = very large if he wasn't doing it for fun smile

so what we could do now? retype every post on our forum because is not supported for this script.
is some backdoor in script? or some hacking tool? or some way that we can get our BACKUP!!!!

this is all we want!

we arent' find any solution to get that database ...
anyone have idea ??

i didn't call that number because i don't have credit on my skype sad and i am not from US-a wink

we really really need help in this case- we have very nice community which can be destroyed every every day.
