Topic: Can PunBB do this?

I'm a newbie here and just have a simple question to know if PunBB is right for me.

Can I create number of different boards and:

1. Limit access completely to certain boards to just those I specifically approve (for each particular board)?
2. Manually create users and issue them with passwords?

1. Yes. There is a flexible system for editing permissions.
2. The pun_admin_add_user extension may be helpful.
