Topic: Problems with forum spam

I have installed on my web forum PunBB 1.3.4 and am having problems with spam. Appear unregistered users spam the forum. Can it be avoided somehow?
Can someone give me a solution and help?

Hello Paxarin

1. Go to admin/extensions.php?section=manage

2. Install  Pun Repository

3. Install Pun Antispam / Pun Stop Bots (Optionally: Pun Approval - for manual approval of registrations /and /or posts)

4. Install Stopforumspam Extension

Thank you very much for your quick response. But could you explain a bit more like to make this installation? I know where is located this extension, but I have much knowledge about handling this type of forum

once you have installed the extensions you go to

admin/settings.php?section=features
and scroll and activate the extension features....

Setup which actions are protected by a captcha

also in

admin/settings.php?section=registration

it can be usefull to activate 

Require verification of all new registrations by e-mail.
