Topic: Cannot block Guest posts

I have unchecked all user permissions for the guest group yet a guest can still view, search and even post. When a guest posts, they are presented with a form with a place for their name, email and Captcha info. How can I turn off guest posting other than unchecking it in the edit existing groups settings?

I'm having a little trouble parsing your post. smile Do you mean that under "Guest User permissions" you have checked "Allow users to view the board." and they still can? Or are you saying that they can view and post after they register?

If it is the first one, then something is broken. If it is the second one then you need to turn off registration.
