Topic: Registration disabled,,?

Hello to all,,, I disabled registration to my PunBB forum due to span, but still I see new accounts growing up by number and by user names,, what is this? The spamming never ends ,, how to stop it???.
Please help,

Im checking - This forum is not accepting new registrations.

Dues to spam and many advertisements even drugs posted on my forums I wanted to disable registrations to the forums trying to take it under control, I observe the forums users accounts increased in number of 5 accounts,, I panic and came here.
Could that be possible to see because I did not refreshed the changes from the administration side?
It seems it is ok now, and I put all back to normal,, let’s see what will happen.
