take a look at how the parser splits the text that goes in the code tag

') !== false)

list($inside, $outside) = split_text($text, '<code>', '</code>
');
$outside = array_map('ltrim', $outside);
$text = implode('<">', $outside);
}where you see the < > around the code, thats meant to be [ ] but obviously i cant do that in here cos it will show out wrong
