Topic: Is it any way to prevent robot spam posts at version1.4 ?

Watching over all the official extensions, I found that all the extensions for preventing of unsolicited postings performed by appropriate scripts.

All the tests for robots are for version 1.3 and under. I installed version 1.4 on my site and I have my forum hardly overloaded by spam.

And its amount constantly grows.

At least some simple check could significantly reduce it.

Is it the only way to option with capcha the PunBB to make downgrade to version 1.3?

Use pun_stop_bots designed for PunBB 1.4 (but change default questions, of course...) and Fancy Stop SPAM (also for 1.4):

You can also use extensions designed for PunBB 1.3 on PunBB 1.4 (most cases they will work, but sometimes...). Just change maxtestedon value in manifest.xml
