can anyone tell me how to get this fixed.
according to google webmasters tools i am getting too many error 404 soft for my forum PunBB forum.
as a result google is rapidly downgrading me in search results, plz help quickly.
most of these error 404 soft are pages that do not exist, in reality how google is generating them they only know
Error 404 occurs when a requested page no longer exists.
Not sure what Google means by Error 404 Soft
Anyway, if you had deleted discussions in the board you are hosting, then this error is likely to occur. One possible solution is to update the sitemap and wait until Google begins to use the updated sitemap.
