You didn't enter a password for your mysql database.

Well, MySQL says you didn't: "Using password: NO". Are you absolutely sure?

That's very odd. It this problem only related to PunBB? I mean, can you login with your username and password from other applications (phpMyAdmin, other forums etc)?
