Topic: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

Can someone tell me why I sometimes get the Open/save dialogue when I try to run a PHP page?

Re: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

You would have to ask your hosting company about that :)

Dead end, in other words..

Re: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

Might I ask what kind of setup you have?

Windows/UNIX?
Apache1/2?
PHP-version?
PHP as CGI/PHP as module?

I'm running the following configuration:
-Win2K Server
-Sambar Server v6
-PHP 4.3.2
-ISAPI (php4isapi.dll)

Re: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

Well, I'm sorry, but I have never even heard of "Sambar Server", so I really can't help you :(

Re: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

If it would have been Apache what could have been the problem then?

Re: "Open/save"-dialogue instead of execution.

The reason for this problem was the php-"header".
When not set correctly, this happened to users with IE.

Don't worry, Kennel, PunBB works like a dream smile but I had other scripts that didn't..
