Changing to PunBB. Help appreciated.

I hope I posted this in the right forum.
Well, the thing is, I am currently using a phpBB forum, but I want to change. PhpBB is harder to create styles with, and often did I had to reinstall the forum because of bugs. I want to change to PunBB, and my host supports it, but there's one problem: Do I have to loose ALL posts and members and everything? I don't think it's worth it if I have to start all over again to get a new forum. Does it exists any PunBB/phpBB converters, or are there any other solutions? What do I have to do to change to Punbb? Will it be made converters sometime? Can it be made?
