i tried 2 times and had the same problems
i have encountered the same problems.
iv tried to upgrade the forum from 1.1.5 to 1.2.
then i v this messages

i guessed, it won't work anymore, so i v returned to previous installation: upload all 1.1.5 files, but no modifications since last execution from 11_to_12_update.php..

I tried to run sql data manually....
copy some parts, paste it manually with semicolon ( ; ) in end of parts.
it worked..
but....why I can't upgrade the rest?

what convertor?
here are what i did:
1. install from a fresh punbb v.1.1.5
2. launch forum.
3. try to upgrade to v.1.2.
4. upgrade failed
5. return to v.1.1.5
6. restore DB from scratch..(copy part by part of sql data inserts, paste and run it from phpmyAdmin..manually)
and I did all TWICE!
all of the them failed.
btw,
I have tried to upgrade v.1.1.5 from clean/fresh installation to v.1.2 and faced the same error.
so i really do not know what's wrong with it..

I have the same problem when i change my all tables name from "punbb_en_*" to "punbb_*" but when i
revert to the old name the upgrade done successfull.
If your people come crazy, you will not need to your mind any more.

Those of you who are having problems with upgrading from 1.1.* to 1.2.* can e-mail me with any information that might be relevant. In order to help you I will need access to your databases (via e.g. phpmyadmin), so unless you're willing to hand that out to me, don't bother

I have this same problem.
i also note at th ebottom of phpmyadmin it also says
"The additional Features for working with linked Tables have been deactivated. To find out why click here."
I dont know a big deal about he coding or sql.
if i try to access the forum i now get
"Notice: Undefined index: o_default_lang in /home/www/euroauto/forum/include/functions.php on line 122

There is a folder called lang/English
I assume this is the labguage folder

I just tried a complete reinstall with a brand new database (so more or less an empty databse) ran the upgrade script for 1.1.5 to 1.2 and got
