I have downloaded the necessary zip file to upgrade to 1.2.3, however I noticed that the instructions are based solely on overwriting your existing files, which I will not do as I do not plan on losing all of the MODs I have installed just to upgrade. Is there another way to upgrade that does not involve losing the entirety of your MODs?
if you are upgraded from 1.2.2 you can use the patch or hdiff to manually edit the files
Sorry, but that doesn't tell me anything except things I am not sure I understand completely.
Are you running 1.2.2 currently? if so these are the changes to the files between 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 http://punbb.org/download/hdiff/hdiff-1 … 1.2.3.html which you can apply by editing the files manually
