Topic: Invision Power Services acquires The Forum Insider

I almost didn't believe this when I read it. Apparently, Invision Power Services (the company behind Invision Power Board) have acquired the website foruminsider.com (a.k.a TFI). TFI is a website targeting forum developers and followers and has until now been completely unbiased. Sure enough, the announcement from IPS claims that the website should still be "viewed as an independent community", but I have serious doubts about that. I have no beef with IPS, but this was too much, even for me.

Its worrying.. I'll just watch the site and see what happens. Nothing good, probably

Somebody obviously read Bill Gates book on how to deal with competition and criticism.
