Topic: Need an Editor for HTML Page

I need an editor which is simple to load and it should be userfriendly. May be combination of Javascript or something related to that. This will be a screen for the viewers, where anyone who want to send a msg can send it in a formatted text. In simple words, like an Yahoo mail feature(Html format/rich text format)

I am using UltraEdit. Its doing fine for me.

What i want is a an editor like message composer to add in the site, so that they can post the message in the formatted text/Rich text format. like what we do in "Google mail compose".

If anyone have any script with you, can i get it.

am... i think that you nees open NotPad.
and learn HTML but i sound abot something "FrontPage".

ameenullah try searching for a WYSIWYG javascript html editor theres a few out there and some even work with FF wink i found one once but i can't remember what it was sad

i run a hosting business and you get this html editor with all packages on cPanel.

You don't like FrontPage®, do you?

Well, I used to use it for my Web site until I switched to an all-modded-up version of PunBB.

FrontPage® can be a nuisance, can't it? It takes 1-2 minutes just for it to start up! And, it wouldn't apply an updated Dynamic Web Template to my .php files unless they were OPEN! I still have to use it, though, for another site I do. (I want to switch that one over to PunBB soon.)

i have to say Frontpage 2003 is more impressive than previous versions, but i prefer some form of notepad style editor (i know everyone has their favourite version) but i don't like it much, and frontpage extensions... ewww

I can't say anything else about FP, that hasn't been said 1,000,001 times before, except...

Some understand & choose to listen, others don't! lol

i know front page extensions are not much good, but for someone wanting a basic editor to start of with, its not to bad i suppose.
