Topic: Easy way to change servers (hosts)?

Okay, I have to move servers this weekend and have a question... what is the best way to move my forum? I run 1.2.4 right now and it has a lot of addons.... should I install a new copy of 1.2.4 on the new server and then overwrite the files with my modded ones and then use the database plugin to upload my database from the old forum to the new one?

sounds like a good plan, make sre you have the latest version of the db plugin before you make the backup
