Topic: Sharing A User Database

I was wondering if anyone would be willing to explain how I could share a user database. Punbb has been my bigest forum database in a long while and I want to give access to the forum users to log into other parts of my site. I have photopost and I want the user database set up so its shared between photopost and punbb, is this possible?

It depends on how photopost's database is set up.

Okay well what if I were to give you a copy of the script or let you tinker around on my test server would that help finding out the information you need? Would I also be able to talk to you on irc/msn/aim to try and help me out?

gezz: I doubt anyone would be interested in doing that for free. Learning the inner workings of a new application is a rather tedious job. You know, it's easier to write code than to read code.

except punbb's code since its so awesome wink

why not use coppermine since it already has user database sharing with punbb?
