Topic: Forbid defined groups to view the userlist.

Hi,

I'm looking for a simple way to forbid the access to the userlist to users which are in a defined groups.

Example :

The users in the group "Guest" and "DontLikeThem" couldn't view the user list. Even if they type the whole URL (http://punbb.forum/userlist.php), the page will display a message "You do not have permission to view the userlist".

The permission could be set by editing the wanted user group.

Like this :

"Use search ( ) Yes (-) No
"View user list  ( ) Yes (-) No"

Is this possible ? smile

No, but it's a feature I'm considering adding to PunBB 1.3. Group permissions for viewing the user list and user profiles.

Yes, it is possible in 1.2.5.

I just wrote a mod for such functionality.
