Topic: Would PubBB suit me?

Hi,

I have a phpbb forum.  Can my forum be transferred/converted to PunBB?

If so, can it handle my forum?  Here's the nature of the forum:

- Typically, 30 people online at any one time.
- 257,000 posts
- 33,000 registered members
- 12,000 posts per month.
- 230MB database of tables created by phpbb.

You should bear in mind that PunBB was not designed to have all the features of phpBB. Therefore do consider whether there are any essential features phpBB has which PunBB doesn't and take into account that you will need to apply mods to PunBB to get those features.

Thanks Paul, I understand the situation.  I very much like the light-weight approach of PunBB.  However, my site's members may not think the same smile

I'll have to do more research as for available features.
