Topic: Finding a deleted member and reinstating?

Hi all ...

Ok, I know this is a bonehead question.  But I'm asking just to be sure. smile


1) I have a member that got accidentally deleted, without checking the checkbox to delete his posts. sad

2) Obviously, all his posts are now showing up as a "Guest"

<grumbles>


Q: Is there any way I can find a id for all the posts to this person, and somehow create a new account for him?

You can make it "raw style", with a backup of your Database :
_find all the topics and posts of the user, and change it from guest to "Username"
_Take the old user line and put it into the table "Users"

Perhaps there's a more simple solution...

I think this is going to be more than I want to bite off and chew. sad

After going through the database [in phpmyAdmin], I've discovered several posts that are all Guests.

What I need to do is convert those Guests into a real account.

Would someone be interested in doing this for as a paid gig?
