Topic: User profile, and banned users

There is no way for moderator/admin to see if a user is banned via user profile. There should be some sort of user status anyway I think, like the "Member, moderator" or personal signature, or "banned" in case of that.

edit: Like "Title: ..." for everyone else wink

Re: User profile, and banned users

True. I have no idea where to put it though.

Re: User profile, and banned users

Something like "Status: Active" or "Status: Active moderator" or in the case of banned "Status: Banned" (doh! ;) in User activity on the first page (don't know if thats the proper translation, but "användaraktivitet" in the swedish version). I don't think it's important to display the actual title if the user has a personal title, or if the default ones are not used in the forum (The personal title, if any, still can be found under "Personal info.").

Re: User profile, and banned users

What about putting small note into profile header?

<h2><span><?php echo $lang_profile['Profile'].'('.$lang_common['Banned'] ?>)</span></h2>

Re: User profile, and banned users

Yeah, maybe. I just want to make sure it's positioned where it makes sence.

Re: User profile, and banned users

And what if just don't show user profile? For example content'll be:

Username:
    Rickard
Real name:
    Rickard Andersson
Announcement:
Sorry, User currently banned, see you later wink)
