Topic: Administrator approval of registrations

Hi,

Is there a way/plugin to make it so new signups must go via the admin for approval before the user can complete registration?

you can make all accounts go into there own user groups and you have to manually move them to a new group so they can posts ect.

Sounds awkward.

What I'm really looking for is a similar method to Invision PowerBoard which sends the administrator a notification email on new signup with an approval link so they can decide whether or not to allow the signup.

It's a potential feature addition in 1.3. I won't make any promises though.
