Topic: HELP! Error adding groups

When I try to add a new group from administration, I always get the following message:

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to add group.

I really need to sort this out quick as this is a pretty big problem in concern with my forum (people are now paying to become 'VIP' and I can't even create the group)
Help is VERY grateley appreciated and as a twist you will have free lifetime VIP. smile

Sounds like you edited the file and made a mistake: I would need to see the code to tell you more

if it just the admin groups, you could try downloading a new copy of the file and moveing it across to see if it is the file.?

Download a fresh copy of PunBB. Upload the admin_groups.php file from that (since you said you didn't modify it, you won't lose anything).

have you editied the file?


try find out where in the file is causing the problem if you have edited the file ( so if you added something, look near the code, see if you mist something out), if you cant, post the page code here.

or just redownload the file and anymodifcations you made, re apply them?
