Topic: Help Understanding an install error message

Greetings,
I'm trying to install PunBB on my siteground account, and I keep getting the message:

An error occured on line 55 in file /home/albright/public_html/forum/include/dblayer/mysqli.php.

PunBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL and select database. MySQL reported: Access denied for user 'albright_michael'@'209.62.36.11' (using password: YES)

Does anybody have any idea what I'm doing wrong? \

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay first off...

Do you have a valid mysql database, user name and password?

Since I do not really know of anything like this I will ask some easy questions.
Is your databsae user attached to your database?

If thr PunBB install file gets an error such as mine, will it still work on a later retry or do I have to trash PunBB and ftp it to my subdomain again?

The PunBB install will work fine
Your username or password for the database server is incorrect. Or you're using the wrong database server.
