Re: [release] PunPeels (Multiple Rotater)

Very neat, technically. And very neat visually.

But in practice it makes accessing your site (to me - YMMV) very slow.

And since it requires Flash, it may not suit everyone. Esp people like me who normally don't allow Flash to run in my default browser.

Firefox also reported the following upon accessing your site, FYI:

The stylesheet http://www.chopaway.com/rov2/style/impo … itcher.php was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/html", is not "text/css".

Re: [release] PunPeels (Multiple Rotater)

That's really cool.

But it needs some debugging. I tried it in opera and firefox but there is a problem:
It shows a huge purple square on top of the page. In opera it doesn't ever go away, so your site is unbrowsable. I am a flash illiterate, is there a way of making that background transparent or so?
I would defenately go for something like this in some sites of mine.

Here's a screenshot to ilustrate the problem

Re: [release] PunPeels (Multiple Rotater)

Your the first to report this problem sad The Peels have been up on my site for the last fortnight and I haven't had any issues. I'll look into it and see what I can find.

If Im honest I didn't test it on Opera ~ I'll go and download it now and give it a test.

Re: [release] PunPeels (Multiple Rotater)

It appears to work fine in Gecko based browsers. (Tested with K-Meleon).
