Topic: 1.2.14 php5 -reports trouble
We did change server today
This server is using php5 and the old one did use a version from 2003
Now it no longers sends a report when a new user is registering to the forum
Who nows a answer ?

Looks like this is not php-related issue, but some server misconfiguration.
Does any script successfully send mails via php mail() function?

the forum is sending the password to the new users.
So that part is working

not working is options/reports/
report metod is standing on both
and Report newregistrations is on yes
And in mailing list are 3 email adresses
xxxx.xxx@xs4all.nl,xxxx.xxxxx.xxx@xs4all.nl,xxxxxx@xxxxx.nl
on the old sever he did send these e-mails and from today, on the new server not anymore.

we did just upgrade to 1.2.20 and now he is sending mails again when someone register to the report mailing list.
Buth now he send no mail with the password anymore

Do you have SMTP configured or just php's mail() used?

in the configuration i did leave smtp empty

Really nothing happens? No errors? No errors in php/apache/mail daemon logs?

Dont ask me how and also dont ask me why ;-)
Only yesturday evning he did send e-mails again.
What i did do is puth a SMTP server adres in the configuration save it and than enter de configuration again removed it.
