Hi i am new to PunBB and really like it but got a few things i need help with
when a members makes a post it says new member and not there user name
also i want to subscribe to the forums so i get email when some makes a post.
plus when a member sends a message to me i dont get an email telling me.
any help with this would be grerat

You can subscribe to a topic.

I assume you mean private messages (pun_pm extension).

sorry i meant subscribe to forums not just topics and just thought that if i sent a message to a member it would say send them an email saying htey had one ? also your name on here says Parpalak on my forum everyone is called new member?

Hi i have just tried again it works fine with google and firefox but not I.E it must be my internet explorer

Try to add to Oxygen_ie6.css and Oxygen_ie7.css something like this:
.brd .user-ident .username {
zoom: 1;
}ok lost me now can you explain what i need to do
You have to open <forum_root>/style/Oxygen/Oxygen_ie6.css in a text editor, add there the code above and save it. And to make the same thing with Oxygen_ie7.css.
ok added that but still cant see any change?
I'm afraid I can't help you. The bug is in the modified Oxygen style. Unfortunately, we can't support modifications done by third parties.
dont understand i have not installed anything its a standard PunBB forum i downloaded from here??
Obviously, not standard. Your forum style has black and yellow colors. But the original Oxygen style has blue and gray colors.

oh right yes i changed them can you tell how to install a template then will see if that sorts it out
What a template?
Now you have to rename your modified style (otherwise it will interfere with the original one) and to upload the original Oxygen style.
template / Styles can you tell me how to install one i will see what that does i tried uploading hte oxygen again but no change

hi just uploaded one and put it in <FORUM_ROOT>/style like it said but cant see anything in admin
