You can get virus via java-scripts as well. I got a virus through Firefox just last month. Of course, I had a virus-program running, but that didn't help much. So maybe you're right tongue

I use F-Prot 2.28 from 1998 to scan old DOS floppies if they are suspect. Apart from that specialized situation, I don't use any.

iNod32. Cheap and ultra fast! Doesn't consume alot of memory and stuff, right now the GUI takes 2mb memory  big_smile

Hi All,
I am using AVAST antivirus.
I found it best anti virus so far. I will recommend AVAST anti virus to all.
Before that I was using Norton but it slowed my system.

I was using AVG for many years. However an year ago I switched to Kaspersky as someone told me that it is more effective. But in vain. Now I have again started using AVG and it caters to all my needs.

Kaspersky is certainly more effective. I'm not even sure the two are in the same category.
