Topic: setting up a webserver, need some help please.

i don't have internet at home anymore since my move(at work now) or i would spend my free time on google trying to help myself, but i need some tutorials(the more indepth the better) on how to set up a win2003 box to host a sql/php based public site. i would like to get it up and ready so i can have it open when i finally do get net access to it. much appreciated.

search for triad apache pache

will install apache, php, mysql, perl, apache:asp, smtp, ftp, pop3, etc #

basically everything and in one simple install

Triad appears to install lots of crap you don't want (haven't tried it, so I'm not sure). I recommend that you install each application manually. You'll learn more that way :D

hmm well yeh but if your lazy (like me) then a step-by-step install is nice, especially if you don't have internet access
