Can try: http://www.hostinglite.com/reseller.html
4 Gb Disk and 30 Gb transfer for that price- best thing is parent company is solid anf been around for a number of years.

Wow, that looks like a great re-seller package.  I have been oogling over http://www.entityhosting.com/ for quite a while now.  But this one seems quite nice.  Can anyone give me any posative feedback for hostinglite.com or any issues that you have had?  I am pretty rough on my servers....

Not to much so far, been there about a month. Initial support ?'s answered quickly, and I got in at 5.99. I mainly went with it to be able to offer some cPanel options at lower prices than Plesk. I have site-monitor watching at 5 mins and no alerts yet. I played a little, but it is cPanel and I am so spoiled with other servers Plesk. I'll be sure to post if any issues.

What sold me was parent company is stable, not some fly by night, and in business for sme time. I checked on webhostingtalk.com and couldn't find any bad things. That is actually where I got the first link.

Re: Unlimited Space For Free

I have heard some mild complaints about Plesk, and have some complaints on CPannel from previous hosts.  What is your preferance (i didnt quite understand)

I'm not as familiar with cPanel, but it just seems sort of "clunky", unfinished. Trying to avoid the best analogy (Mac GUI vs. Win GUI smile ), so lets say the comparison is like NT3.5.1 (cPanel) and Win XP (Plesk). I prefer the clean and very intuitive interface of plesk that covers everything I need. cPanel is a bit of a hassle switching control panels for different domains, and WHM is awful (for me) to work with.

I guess they both do the same thing, and I've heard cPanel has a lot more "features", but for me I just prefer the Plesk interface and functionality. Naturally the Plesk accounts are more expensive, and people don't always want to pay for the nice interface, I don't mind.... (similar to using eNom API vs PDQ site)....

Yeah you pretty much need control of the server, or some server companies will put it on for you. But it is generally more expensive. I'm basically a reseller and my on "source" offers it so that is my experience with it. As for installing and setting up, can't help you much there.

Re: Unlimited Space For Free

Plesk is quite interesting, but I do rather enjoy the CPannel WHM (i signed up at hostinglite for a month to test it out).  Seems pretty nice.  Not bad for the price.  And if I felt like it i could sell 100mb with 1-2GB bandwidth for like 2 bucks a month and easily make up for the cost on the side. I need to find out if they do custom plans....
