Topic: time stamp

i am aware that you are supposed to set the server time zone in the admin settings and then the user time zone in the profile, but no matter huw much i monkey with it..... i can't get it to show the right time and it will always show MST no matter which zone is selected but the time will change.

for instance, right now is the closest i can get it to actual time and its - 0:40 minutes.... not exactly an even number to work with.  any ideas?

FYI, i use godaddy for hosting.

Re: time stamp

Is the clock set correctly on the server and on your computer?

Re: time stamp

on my computer, yes... server... how do i find that out?  Weird thing is... the time difference seems to change... just now there was a 20 minute difference.... they wouldnt keep moving me to different servers, would they??

i dunno if this is related, but i get the "Bad HTTP_REFERER" error often.... could my firewall be messing that up?

edit.. just turned it off, posted.. and now i have a 30 min difference.... its not the firewall.... (apparently)
