alright, i want to download and try out Plesk. i goto the download page, and i see them for Windows 2000 and 2003. im running XP.

which one should i download? or is there any other server management program like this for windows?

Rickard: Plesk is server management software. Basically it's a control panel thingy. I think the Linux equivelant is something called cPanel.

Gary: It's for Win2000 Server and Win2003 Server. It's not for workstations.

Didn't we have this conversation in IRC? since you don't have any domains to manage most of cpanel/plesk is usless to you as its all for emails, domains, subdomains, for mysql use phpmyadmin for file transfer use windows explorer tongue what else do you need for a local webserver?
