One thing which I miss from almost all other forum software is a 'Next Page' link next to the page numbers. It's just so much easier than making sure you click on the correct page number; just click next page and your there!
Just a thought, but as it's such a small change (i think...) maybe it'll get implemented 
there was a big topic about this and i think someone mad a mod for it look in the mod section
The problem is horizontal space. There just isn't room for any more paging links. To throw in a next page link there, it would have to get a row of it's own (and that would be ugly).
i made a mod for that, it was my fist and it worked Great for me, Go here
