Topic: Integrated Punbb into your site? Post your link

I have been working on integrating my punbb message board into my site and things have been going well so far. I just wanted a little inspiration or ideas from other integrators.

If your site and message board both have a similar style/theme please post your link if you dont mind me taking a look.

yeah the miniportal is really cool i use it with the extra box mod from mediator and it gives pretty nice result

uh, how'd you guys get them sooo intergrated?? I've had to use an iframe, which is working out a bit dodgey =/
http://www.wumga.com i love the punBB forum, its certainly the easiest and most user friendly ive worked with ^_^

Dimmy:  Edit main.tpl, that's the easiest way.

EDIT:  Hrm...I can't see any problems on my computer using IE, then again, I'm using IE 5.5 for the mac tongue  If someone could post screenshots or give me a % size to use, or something, that'd be very much appreciated.

Your body font-size is 62.5% which is 10px so you should set the percentage font-size for .pun to 100%.

I'm setting up a comments system, where artistic submissions can be made and usernames from punBB are used when posting comments to them in threaded format. Right now I have the submission information, comments, etc. in a separate database, which is a little troublesome considering I have to consistantly open and close DB connections. I also wish to create a Deviantart.com-style message system, in a central location for PM, reply, and new submission messages. It will take a while but the experience I'll get from coding it will be great! big_smile

My integration is by way of a plugin that feeds blog items to forum topics, click forum in the item footer.

Still working out a theme, for now it's fill the browser window.

A little late to this. smile I'm just about to revamp the whole site but this was my first integration of punbb into my site. css and template hacked about, plus some changes to the scripts. Makes upgrading each time a bit of a pain mind.
