Topic: Usernames with strange characters (specifically !)

Hey,

I have an IPB install and I recently migrated the database over to punBB because I like this system pretty well. However, there's a user with a ! in his username. He had to type it as an HTML entity (! or something like that) in order to even log in, and he cannot post. Any chance of this getting fixed soon?

Usernames with ! should work fine, i presume its a bug in the converter but i've never used it, or even looked at the converter.
