Topic: A hdiff creator for Windows?

I hope I'm posting this in the right place... was doubting between here and Promgramming tongue

So, does anyone know a hdiff creator for Windows? I'd like it to be so I can just select the files to compare and it creates a hdiff.
If it's for Linux, I wouldn't mind, but as I'm developing on Windows it would be handier...

It's Perl I believe, which can be run on Windows (and it's what PunBB uses I think)

Seeing that the script starts with a call like this

$diff = '/usr/bin/diff';

I bet i'll have to run it on Linux wink

Try running it under cygwin or something?

I use beyond compare http://www.scootersoftware.com/  I absolutely love that app.  it's pretty awesome (and inexpensive considering the featureset IMO).

I've been using Beyond Compare since I can remember, makes it very easy to keep my sites updated with the latest code.

PS. If you're on Linux, check out Krusader, it's got an excellent file comparison utility.

Krusader is installing now...

That hdfiff tool doesn't work too well, as it says the two files are the same (no red lines or anythign, all green).

I don't see an option to create hdiffs in Krusader...

So if someone could please help! I tried setting up a trac but that doesn't work either -.-

Try TortoiseSVN
after install go to
C:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\Diff-Scripts

run diff-doc.js

If your people come crazy, you will not need to your mind any more.
