Topic: Different forums - one member table

First of all: Nice work done, Rickard. Your punbb I was looking for. A lean and fast board without all those garbage gimmicks you find on other boards. Thanks.

Here's my question: I'm running a site with 4 different country sections (Germany, Austria, US and UK). I want to put one forum on each section but allow every user to use all forums (with only one registration). What is the best way to do this? I want only one member table (i.e. all_users instead of us_users, uk_users. de_users and at_users) Which files do I have to change?

Daniel

Re: Different forums - one member table

You should be able to do that by a little search and replacing in the scripts. Search for the string "'.$db->prefix.'users" (without quotes) in all files and replace it with, i.e. "all_users". I'm not absolutely sure it will work, but you can give it a go :)
