I see that Punbb is very quite these few days, i thought if they dont have any good extension ideas, then we can suggest them here. Ok here is few ideas of mine.

1- Brodocast Email. (Very usefull one. some can port that to an extension, and make few changes like, HTML allowed, and send xx number of emails per minute)

2- Ajax Comment Posting. (will be very cool extension)

3- Ajax Edit replays (check here: http://punbb.informer.com/forums/topic/ … post-edit/ i think daris is gone and he is not supporting this anymore, so may be some can update it)

4- Ajax/javascript Quick Search Box (in vbulletin, when you click on search button, it shows a box with search options, and if the javascript is blocked in browser, it opens the page, i think it will be very cool, and you will not have to reload the search page every time you search)

5- Ads Management (check my topic here: http://punbb.informer.com/forums/topic/ … anagement/ )

i think these ideas are all i have in my mind now, Three of them are ajax related lol, you can combine them and release ajaxed punbb extension if you like. What are your Ideas?

the problem is there is no blocks, how can i add blocks to it. the example i gave was working in 1.2 but not in 1.3.

i am using 1.3.

1- i want to add a block, below menu, now i added this <!-- forum_include "FILE" -->
but that just add the file content.
i want to add a complete block like in 1.2 like this code:

but that dosnt work in 1.3. i just shows the content of banner1.php

i use norton internet security 2009 with spyware terminator, and already installed windows defender.

eset is also good. but norton 2009 is completely different from older versions. its the Best.

is there any way to convert users to the wp.

oh and by the way, does it work with old wp users.

ads after first post are included in the list, and i am not a coder, so its a extension request not release, so if some one step up to make it, it would be great.

I cant believe no one made it yet.

i mean, its a very important extension.

may it include these features:

Turning on/off ads
Turn off for admin and/or moderators (users Groups)
Custom ad code... So can be used for anything not just google
Ad position - viewtopic.php after first post
Ad position - all pages below main menu (switch for noone/guests/members)
Ad position - all pages above footer box (switch for noone/guests/members)
Ad position - Between Categories(switch for noone/guests/members)

any one have others position. please post.

hello again,

ok i had a fluxbb forum which i upgraded to punbb 1.3.2. on WP 2.7

now i installed the plugin.

and its not working.

it redirects the users to wp place but when i login to my wp account, it is not logged in punbb area.
