All that you would need to do (probably) is change install_mod.php to accept the new version.

I found the problem btw. There's no query in the Delete User part of the profile to remove the deleted user from the online list. smile

If you delete a user while they are logged on, they stay listed as a logged on Registered user on index.php and count as a guest there as well. They only have guest powers though.

Erm, did you put language.php in? I think it goes with the other pages (viewforum, index, etc)

You changed ALL the files back and got that?

Erm, did you download the Swedish language pack?

Take a look in the login page: there should be a checkbox to log you in every time you go to the forum ;-)

With the user groups, would it be possible to automatically assign moderation rights of forums to certain groups?

Right now, PunBB only allows the admin(s) to allow/stop guests posting in the whole forum. I think that some kind of more exact control like this is needed. It just makes it a lot easier if you have a "members only" type forum that you don't want guests to post in or just want to limit where not logged in users can post without shutting them off completely.

Ah cool, thanks :-)

Thanks smile

But as moderator in the test forums you gave, even with moderator powers over the restricted forums, I still needed to become a group member to be able to view the group forum.

Edit: I'm assuming the test forums have been upgraded to the new version of the mod as well?

Found a bug.
post.php wasn't changed: I can post in forums where I don't have read access by editing the fid in the URL.

And as a moderator, I don't have read access to all forums without first being given access, even if I have mod rights for the forum.

For some reason, even after going into a thread marked with the little ! icon, reading it, even going back out and clicking on the New Posts link, the forum doesn't seem to clear the little icon. Only clicking Mark all forums as read seems to do anything. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? tongue
