2007 is still 6 and a half months to go. i'd be willing to bet we'll see it by the end of this year. smile

it's in the "extras" folder you downloaded.

update: i have screen caps of all the steps i want to include in the first 3 tutorials. i'll need to organize them and present them in a use full manner before going live. stay tuned.

or try a fresh re-install.

scratch that, it works... reinstall helped.

Rickard is slacking on the update. wink

that's good stuff. very ingenious too.

just upload it to the "plugins" folder and it should be in the admin panel on the left/bottom.

i signed it already i guess.... hmm

* It appears that somebody has already signed this petition with the same information.

sad situation none-the-less.

side note: this should have been posted in the General discussion forum instead. best of luck.

i'll see what i can do. should be easier too.

i like that style. should be an interesting forum.

most free webhosts do not support php or mysql which is required to run PunBB.

here. watch this:

it's the first of hopefully many video tuts i'll produce for PunBB. it's really rough but it does the job. pay particular attention to the file names... they are the plugins you requested help installing.

note: this vid is out of order. i had hoped to do everything from the beginning. well final product will be from the beginning.

it's pretty easy... give me a few minutes i'll show you.

looking at some of those setups it makes me not want to run a very popular board. wink

addition: i'll take any help i can get. if you want to produce a video it won't be turned away. i'll host them also.

i've had the idea of producing video tutorials for the basics of PunBB. my biggest drawback is what to record. i'm going to do the very basics like installing, updating, style/plugin installation, etc. i'd like some suggestions of things to record. please keep them simple and only a max of 2 minutes worth of recording. also keep in mind the target audiance. if they need to watch these videos then they aren't the type of admin who is going to be installing a mod that requires 10 different source file hacks. K.I.S.S. please. wink

suggest away.

side note: what mod is this?

the "Please note that this...." it's only in that forum. some kind of individual forum announcement.

Mega PunBB? fitting. i was going to suggest something PunComplete or a variation.

do you plan on a port of some kind when 1.3 is released?

very impressive work Shedrock.
