Paul, i'm afraid your chase for high compatibility is going to create more work than you deserve or is even necessary. wink

although not a solution to whoever doesn't use firefox(or opera) but if there are too many topics for me to read here i just open them in new tabs so the timeout doesn't kill the new post icon for me.

I think I will show a preview here when it comes near release.

Reguards,
Russell

consider waiting on a final release until 1.3 is done then you might not have to touch ANY source.

If you have a mod for a previous version of PunBB and plan on converting it to work with 1.3's new "plugin" system, please let us all know and post it here. I thought it would be nice to get an idea of what to look forward to in regards to what is currently out there.

So, let us know what mod you built(or helped on) and plan on converting to 1.3. Also we can use this list to get an idea of the mods that NEED to be converted and some people can take that task over.

didn't GUI do something like this for the macaddict forums? i recall he was having issues with the search function on his forums. i think it would benefit large forums since a search could bring the server to it's knees it seems.

although a very nice and slim player it doesn't appear to support genre seperation or a tree style navigation. i'll explain: i have about 4 people that want to contribute songs to the playlist, about 150 songs total. but they are all of differant genre and artists. we would like to offer all the songs but seperate them into differant "folders" in the playlist so you don't have to browse 150+ songs to find what you want to listen to.

thank you thou pogenwurst. the search goes on. wink

i'm looking for a good, FREE mp3 streaming app for my website. preferably in flash and must support differant albums and genres and not load the entire playlist in one window(like flam player). any help is appreciated.

OH, it would be nice if it can float in it's own window so it can play in the background(user option would be nice) while the user browses the site or just the web.

THANKS.

a mod is modifying source code and an extension(real name to come) is a drop in "plug in" version of a mod. they are only supported in 1.3 which isn't out yet.

more about 1.3 here.

I've been getting a donation here and there lately, so I'm looking forward to holding a style and extension competition once 1.3 is finished. I think I will be able to come up with some nice cash prizes!

i think Rickard decided to use the $ twards prizes for a future contest to promote 1.3.

very nicely done as always CodeXP.

side note: would you consider converting and releasing your downloads "mod" when 1.3 is released?

any chance of sharing the windows style you have running? link too if you don't mind. wink
