I moved a post from one forum to another and then on my feed that post appeared twice.
Anyone know a fix for this?

Hi thanks for responding,
I dont want to upgrade because it's too technical. Anytime I try to add something to punbb it involves a lot of code and its hard for me.
do you know where the sub forums mod is?
I searched and it went here: http://www.punres.org/browse.php?keywor … projects=1
and that took me to here:
http://www.punres.org/desc.php?pid=209
and it says it doesnt exist
thanks

Hi I I have 2 questions please:
1. Where in the code does it say "You are not logged in."?
want to change it to say something else.
2. How can I display the users post count?
I went to the control panel >> Options >> User post count
Show the number of posts a user has made (affects topic view, profile and userlist).
and selected yes, but it still doesnt show
thanks

Topic: Can you print most recent thread titles on a seperate page? (2 replies, posted in General discussion)
I want to show the most recent thread titles on the front area of my site, away from the forum.
So it'll say like:
Most recent threads in our forum:
Most recent thread title 1
Second most recent thread title 2
Most recent thread title 3
Can this be done?
thanks

Topic: How can I change the destination url of a username? (1 replies, posted in General discussion)
Right now when you click a username it goes to their punbb profile.
Id like to change that url so it leads to a different destination.
Anyone know which file I need to make that change to?
For example: when I click someones username it might take me to:
http://www.mypunbbforum.com/forum/profile.php?id=1133
instead I want to take it to:
http://www.mysite.com/profile.php?id=1133
thanks

Re: Is there a "how to install polls for Dummies" available? (4 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
yes its simple, put all the files in the correct folder, where their is no folder put it in the root
Thanks but this part I dont understand.
My folder says Easy_Poll-1.1.3
so I upload that to "forum" or I upload that folder to "Plugins"?
or do I just upload the files up, and not the folder?
sigh
I tried to upload the file but when I run it I get this error:
Warning: main(./include/common.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/home/purse/domains/mysite.com/public_html/forum/plugins/Easy_Poll-1.1.3/install_mod.php on line 94

Topic: Is there a "how to install polls for Dummies" available? (4 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
omg im so lost. I got easy polls and the instructions say:
#
#---------[ 1. UPLOAD ]---------------------------------------------------
#
install_mod.php
vote.php
poll.php
viewpoll.php
lang/LANGUAGE/polls.php
So where do I upload it?
And do I upload the files, or the folder?
Is there instructions that tell me step by step how to do things? I dont know anything so instructions that assume I know what folders go where I get lost.
thanks for any help.

Topic: Can you put up a totally new header? (2 replies, posted in PunBB 1.2 troubleshooting)
I did read this http://wiki.punres.org/Add_a_logo_to_the_header_via_css
and all it says is how to add a logo.
Well I can add a logo, but the name of my site appears over the logo which looks confusing and unreadable.
Also I want to add an entire header, that stretches across 1n00% of the page, and have my own site menu under it.
I dont know how to do this.
In Vbulletin I just put my header in under the BODY tag, but When I open up the "header" file in PunBB its all code and I cant put html in under the body tag.
So is it possible to up a whole new header? thanks
