Nothing changed, same problem.

However, when I set the period to 6000, it allowed me to edit.

Hm... something happened... Now when the period is not expired, "Edit" link is still there but when I click on it, I get the "You can't edit this post anymore as editing time is expired..." message

Yes.

And thanks for the extension, it's really useful. smile

Seems to work on my forum.

One suggestion/request: would be nice to "expire" this period once the message is not the last one in the topic.

Extensions installed are pun_bbcode, pun_repository, pun_pm, pun_antispam, pun_poll, pun_quote. PM traffic is very low.

Also, last time CPU load was at peak (11.5%) the most "busy" pages were: forum (this must be index page) -- 1.5%, and forum/search-new.html -- 0.9%. At all times index page is responsible for 10-15% of CPU load used.

"User has posted" option is off, and I switched off "Topic vews" option, but that didn't help much.

I have a not too busy forum -- so far up to ~80 user online simultaneously, -- however my hoster reports about 12-13% CPU usage by my forum at peak load. The (shared) server specs are: 2x Intel Xeon 3.4GHz 4Gb RAM.

It seems to me that for a "lightweight" forum that's kind of high, isn't it?

I wonder what figures of CPU load do other owners of PunBB forums get?

bug: if selection includes a smiley, then whole message text is quoted rather than just the selection

Two more glitches now:

  • for double-digit-numbered list elements only the last digit is displayed (i.e. "0" instead of "10")

  • for multi-line list elements the numbering is displayed next to last line instead of next to first

Quite a  number of fixes where introduced since 1.3.2, why don't you guys release say 1.3.3 (or 1.3.2.1) that would incorporate all of them?

I have an ordered list in the Rules text. It looks as supposed in Firefox and Mozilla (and Chrome), but MSIE shows all list items with number "1". Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks for suggestion, but I don't see how it can be used since the number of search results is usually below 50, and always less than 100. The problem with my forum is that users click on "New posts" link too often.

Could someone please suggest a quick fix for this problem?

Applied this fix. Now columns are not aligned and Last post info is off the screen in "New topics" (and "Active topics", and "Search results", etc.) tables.

My hoster reports high CPU load generated by my forum. It seems that most of the load is due to frequent use of "New posts" link.

There is an option called "Search flood interval" in the Groups admin panel, however this parameter does not affect the use of "New posts" (and "Active posts") link, which basically means that if guest search is allowed (and I'd like to keep that in my forum), a guest can overload CPU by repeated use of "Active posts" link.

It seems to me that "Search flood interval" parameter should affect all search functions, rather than "regular" forum Search only.

When ban expiration date is set to day N, it is actually set to day N-1.

I installed second forum so that it uses first forum's users database as described in these threads (inserted $sql = str_replace(... instruction into mysql.php file). However, the new forum does not "see" first forum's user groups (the non-default ones). What do I do to make it "see" them?

Yep, this bug made it into 1.3.2 and still present in the distribution I downloaded today from informer.com .

Go to user profile and change the password.

Is there any way to reject a post if it contains certain words? I know there is "censoring" feature, but it just replaces words, which is not what I need.

why is it limited to max. 7 questions per poll?

If you mean "answer variants per poll", that can be changed in admin panel (Forum > Administration > Settings > Features), the range is from 2 to 100.

I believe it would be better if all poll-related fields were under "Submit" and "Preview" buttons rather than above them.
Their current position confuse those users who are not very computer/internet-savvy.

Also, the results should include total number of votes (say, as an extra "Total" line in the results table).

Are you talking about keys in the lang file?

Yes, number one was about keys in the lang file and how they're used in the admin panel. No big deal of course, but makes translating lang file a bit harder, and... well, say it's "bad style".

Can not switch off "Enable revoting" option in an already existing poll with this option On.

Disabling this feature "globally" (via admin panel) does not help: the option disappears from the poll editing form, but remains On.
