Even after viewing the message that someone sent to me, the displayed link to my inbox is still labeled "New messages". I believe that it should be changed to something else, like "Private messages inbox".
By the way, I think that the actual "New messages" link should be red in addition to being bold. This would make it easier for us to notice it.

I've set the "folder based (fancy)" scheme and I'm aware that /post/ URLs have the NOINDEX atribute in their "robots" meta tags, in order to prevent the indexing of duplicate content and consequently penalties from search engines. However, can't we get rid of this /topic/ versus /post/ thing at all?
The system should use normal /topic/ addresses along with post #ids to link to specific posts, because regular forum members don't know that linking to /post/ URLs from their sites and blogs will give the discussion no credit from search engines.
If there's a simple way to redirect /post/ links to their correspondent /topic/ ones, please let me know.

Cereal, could you tell me how you blocked those disposable email domains? I'm afraid of them being used by malicious users as well.
