You can safely replace all files in the punbb-directory. It's only config.php you need to save, but as it's not in the zip-package, there's no problem.

It looks really nice! I've only looked at it briefly, not installed any mods with it. I'll probably take a closer look when I've got the time, and maybe "convert" my mods to it :)

You must remove a ; in php.ini to make it work :) Just search for 'mysql' and you'll find the right row.

I've uploaded a new version now, beta 2. It's even less tested than beta1, but it now supports converting from another server! (and of course from the same server, but with another user).

The user that you entered when installing Pun must have acces to the other database too.

I don't know. Why not just try? :) I don't think they make any database-changes between 2.x-versions, so it should probably work fine.

You'll have to change the database for that (as moderators can't change users to administrators). If you use phpMyAdmin or a similar tool, just set status to 2 (0=user, 1=moderator, 2=admin) on your user.

There DO exists a version for 1.3.

I should know whis, as I made it myself :) Sorry for lying to you... I forgot it converted 1.3 too. Download the converter from the link in this topic..

No, there is no script for 1.3. I don't know if any ipb1.3->ipb2.0 script exists either, I'll take a look.
