how do you make the first letter in the titles bold like that? would you mind sharing the code edit? looks good by the way.

Here's the "trick":

font-variant: small-caps; font-size: 18px;

No, that just set the timezone so it can calculate the time for users who have set their local timezone. But dates/times will still show up as 16:30 for guests even if I posted it 00:30 GMT.

Maybe I've missed it but is there any way of changing the default timezone for guests so it's not the server's timezone? Right now my server is in PST and most visitors in GMT.

Looking good. Maybe a Mario Kart picture somewhere in the design would be sweet. You don't really think of Mario Kart when you see the page.

IE

I can't make it disappear.

Everything has bugs. Have you reported them?

Firefox 1.5: Yes, the clearing doesn't work in the first example.

Also I get a space between the yellow and blue field in example 2 under IE, which are not there in FF 1.5.

The fieldset has a padding or something too under FF which are not seen in IE.

Rickard says all the major mods will be supported by the extension system, and it's pretty much those that are a pain to install. I think it's just a hassle to have a plugin to make small changes.

But I don't know. Anyway, the patch tool is working but in beta stage. Looks like we'll have to wait for the extension tool to see how it works.

Its going to be made rather obsolete (not totally but alot) in 1.3 since 1.3 has extensions

Yeah. I stopped working on this since the extensions announcement.

Hehe.. Fora is such an ugly word ^^;

It's really an easy thing to add so I don't see why not.

The instant preview, however, would put some load on the whole thing, all this constant parsing/sending of data...
I guess that would be a bit big.

Instant preview can be done with javascript only. I made a live preview mod for PunBB 1.0.* once.

What I meant with "instant" was something like "Preview while you type".
I am just sitting on that anyway, I think it is better to do it with ajax because then you can use the punBB parser and you don't have to write one in JavaScript.

That's exactly what it did. And it didn't put any load on the server.

We hope to make it a simultaneous worldwide release as much as it's possible

Good news ^^

Yeah you should work on integrating the forum into your site/design.

Not in the config file but in the admin. Change Base URL.

Yeah, as long as all the scripts support <4.3.0 the hosts won't upgrade. Only those who are security minded, which are not that many XD

Klockan går efter serverns datum och tid. Så går den fel får du ställa om klockan på servern. Hur du sätter klockan i Linux kan se här. Om ditt forum ligger hos någon webhost, kontakta dom.

Hello,

First time poster here... smile

Firstly, thanks for this great piece of software. I just updated my installation from 1.2.8 to 1.2.9 using patch, and the instruction says to run the script after applying the patch. My question is which "script" am I supposed to run? I tried moving my config.php out of the way and rerun the install.php but that complains that I already have a users table or something like that, so that must not be it smile

My version still say 1.2.8 even though I already applied the patch, so I must be missing something.

Thanks in advance.

In your PunBB package: extras/12_to_129_update.php

Move that to your upload/ (PunBB root) and run it. Then remove it.
