Heh, I tend to use as little as possible MySQL proprietary functions, as I don't know them anyway ^^
There will always be incompatibilities
I don't really see any use in this, except maybe creating overhead on the DB layer.
Sorry, I forgot you weren't using MySQL
A resource is not an array, but a data stream of sorts that can be read by one of your database's functions. for example, $db->fetch_assoc() would read your resource and return an array.
$db->query() should always return a public MySQL resource.
svn checkout http://punbb.org/svn/punbb/branches/punbb-1.3-dev/
That should do it
Sure, install TortoiseSVN and you can just download it and rtun on your webserver

It's not. I think it's hilarious
If the boss says so
It's hilarious indeed ^^
Magic
Ah yes, the naked magic But not quite appropriate for this forum I'm afraid
Something like the Topic Icon mod that is available on PunRes?
Well, ImpEx doesn't support a PunBB > 1.2.10, so my migration test has failed for some reason.
config.php can't be viewed by anyone, as it's a PHP script. Unless they have FTP or any other sort of access of that kind to your files.
And for the last registered user and member list: just delete the file/comment out the code
The other styles will be ported when development has finished
Do you have any idea where this import system is?
I just noticed vB has 111 tables
And it's DB is 10.7MB too =/
Ouch I say to that
I would love to see one to go from VB to punbb. Punbb is so much nicer to work with.
Indeed.
In viewtopic.php, include p.html in the post fetch query. Only then the check for HTML will work
Thank you very much for the kind words. It's reading these kinds of messages now and then that really get the coding juices flowing
Oh really?
You and PunBB pwn Rickard

I know in phpMyAdmin you can export for PostgreSQL, but I don't know if phpMyAdmin works for SQLite... I bet there are similar tools
C:\server\PHP5 for me atm, although that can change...
Edit... or do you mean that you just couldn't have lists without using <menu> the way the mod is currently set up?
Indeed. My mod doesn't edit any css files, so I had to use another type of list.
Have you installed any .htaccess spam protection?
Check if the file's permissions are correct.
Or can you use other text in posts?
