Yes you can overwrite them. Easiest way to upgrade.

Then run the update file in the /extras folder.

Backup just in case.

I'm not sure. Registration only takes a minute, and you can then gauge the success of the site - and PunBB itself - on the amount of members it has...

I disagree with that idea. I think resources for punbb must stay centralized on punres. I do not want resources to be disseminated/dispersed on multiples websites when it's not necessary. It would not simplify punuser's task. Punres can receive styles without any problems. I do not see the interest of creating any website else at the moment.

True, at the moment PunRes is a good source for all things Pun but if PunBB becomes as big as it should - i'm liking it alot more than phpBB to be honest - then other Pun websites can only help spread the word...

Open up the oxygen / mercury / etc .css file and alter it to something like:

I've now figured out how to add buttons for each style, but the problem is that in viewtopic and viewforum, the new image makes the text align all wrong.

This:

If you open up header.php, you can see how the page is displayed based on whether a user is logged in or out:

My PHP is close to useless, and i'm needing a different type of news mod.

One where you can select individual topics and display them as 'news' rather than just fetching X amount of  from a selected forum.

The topic id's are stored in a database table, and then that data is displayed on a seperate page.

I have the mod for phpbb if its possible that could be converted to work with PunBB.

Any advice much appreciated.
