No problem here. The clocks change on the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October. Its always been that way as far as I can remember but I think there used to be some funny rules if Easter intervened. I think the rest of the EU changes at the same time nowadays.

It has a pretty checkbox which at present does nothing.

What I find even more annoying is that if you are logged in as admin or as a mod then you get the edit view of everybody's profile. Thats a pain when you just wanted a quick look at something. At one point I thought of requesting that the normal view be the default not only for admins/mods but also when looking at your own profile with a button/link to switch to edit mode. I didn't pursue it though as I thought it was just me being fussy.

Have you tried uploading a fresh copy of the language files just in case they got mangled during the original upload.

The lang/english directory is on my server.

If the directory is actually "lang/english" (small "e") try renaming it to lang/English (capital "E")

According to the vBulletin forum, ImpEx 1.61+ supports PunBB 1.2.10 -> vB 3.6 though why I should care I don't really know.

The idea of mods clearly stating which databases they work with (or don't work with) would seem to be sensible though.

I would say that extensions certainly would be.

The only real problem with the licence is the phrase "work based on the program". The definition is so vague that that it would need to be interpreted by the Courts. What is clear though is that anything that could be described as software, which an extension would be, is within the definition.

I'm not entirely convinced about instructins being caught by the GPL. If the code is contained in files as code then certainly but if the code simply appears as something to copy and paste from the instructions I don't think its caught. If it was then it would be legal to photocopy books about GPL software and sell or give away the copies.

Any colour you like, the stylesheets are yours to edit as you please.

I haven't closed this because there is a chance (probably very slim) that endre might want to answer.

I've seen it added to spam blacklists as a spam domain and seems particularly popular for x-rated spam. Whether it also has its legitimate uses I don't know.

Dr. Jeckyl: How does the mod actually work .e.g does it throw up an error message if you try to post a link and prevent the post being entered?

I think a better solution would be to not allow html in the board description. I really can't see any pressing need for it. Since the board description is inside a paragraph tag the html is limited to inline elements anyway.

Why are you continuing to post about this here. Its nothing to do with us. Topic closed.

I do think it would great to have this as a clickable option in admin because there are lots of people who are afraid to tweak the code and the edit is something extra to remember and do every time you upgrade the board.

But there aren't lots of people who would need or want this particular item as an option.

If somebody has banned you from a forum you will have to contact them by email and ask them to unban you. There is nothing we can do about it unless it is this forum you have been banned from.

The porting of the other styles will be the last thing that gets done for the simple reason that maintaining multiple styles during development involves a considerable waste of time and effort.

elbekko: No idea. I know its its called ImpEx but not having a licensed copy of vBulletin I've never had a look at it.

And to answer the original question, vBulletins import system supposedly supports PunBB.

In 1.3 all of PunBB's javascript (what there is of it) is going to an external file and an onload handler will be used to make it easier to add more javacript so that part of your request is already taken care of.

Is this a conversion from another forum or a clean install?

In any case make sure there's a user in your database with id = 1 and group_id = 3 (which is the guest user).
